OUT OF SYNC
The Out Of Sync AW25 collection embodies experimental fashion with craftmanship, drawing inspiration from arrhythmias and the erratic
heartbeat patterns that occurs in these conditions. These irregularities can manifest as rapid pulsations, sluggish rhythms and missed or added beats,
generating sensations of unease. The collection delves into the dichotomy between stability and instability, rhythm and discordance, security and fragility.
It’s as if the erratic heartbeats have infiltrated the very fabric of the garments, jolting them out of their natural state.
Through this concept, the aim is to evoke a experience and narrative, abstract notions find expression in the form of apparel.

I have an endless curiosity that drives my projects, each one distinctly different from the last. My work is guided by whatever sparks my interest, leading me to delve deeply into research and immerse myself completely. This particular project began with my personal experience of arrhythmias and the sensations they evoked. I thought there might be something there worth exploring and expressing in a tangible form-and there was. I aspire for my collections to be more than just clothing; I want them to provoke thought and curiosity, conveying a narrative.
While some pieces may simply be garments, others are designed to envelop the wearer in an experience. For this collection, I intentionally made a few pieces uncomfortable to wear, making it impossible to ignore their presence, much like the inescapable feeling of arrhythmia. The name “Out of Sync” came from the sensation of having unsynchronized heartbeats. It also reflects the feeling of being out of sync with your surroundings- experiencing numbness in your body while simultaneously being hyper-aware of everything around you. It’s an intense, bizarre discomfort, often
followed by a sense of calm once it subsides. In the photoshoot I wanted to capture a contrast. Both standard lookbook pictures and intuitive
shots where we explored without a plan. These unpredictable and unexpected moments mirror the nature of arrhyhtmias.
